Lisa Armijo is a beautiful and strong woman who dedicated 26 years of hard work to the University of Arizona. Lisa worked for 13 years at the department of Human Resources from 1999 to 2012. During this time, she began a family and raised a beautiful daughter and son. Alongside her husband, Lisa provided strength and stability to her newly blossoming family. In 2012, she found a new professional opportunity at the James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences. She has worked at the College of Optical Sciences for 13 years where she created strong relationships with students and staff members. Lisa has helped thousands of individuals on their paths to success and has left a lasting impact on all of their lives. During her time at Optics, Lisa helped her daughter go to college and obtain her degree. Lisa made sure she did everything she could to make the college path accessible to her daughter and future generations of her family to come. She was always committed to the success of her students, staff, and family. No individual fell short. We all cherish Lisa's presence in our lives. Her family is honored to present her with an engraved paver in the Women's Plaza of Honor to recognize her hard work and dedication to the University and her family. Thank you, Lisa, for everything that you do. You are an amazing woman and mother who we could not live without. We love you always,
The Armijo Family.
