In September 2025, Laura Todd Johnson will retire after 23 years of distinguished service to the University of Arizona in the Office of the General Counsel. Throughout her tenure as Senior Vice President for Legal Affairs and the General Counsel, Laura provided outstanding legal leadership during transformative events in the University’s history. Laura’s impact extended beyond the University as a nationally recognized leader and widely respected mentor in higher education law. She is a past chair of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) board of directors and the Arizona State Bar Employment and Labor Law Section.
