Sandra Journey Ziemer

Sandra was born and raised in Tucson, Az and attended the University of Arizona College of Nursing. She graduated in 1966 and started working at St. Joseph Hospital Pediatrics that year. In 1970 she moved to Minocqua, WI and worked at the local hospital for 2 years. After meeting her husband, John Ziemer, they moved back to Tucson where she worked at University Hospital in Pediatrics until 1978. They then moved to Lake Stevens, WA and she worked at Providence Hospital in Everett until 1981 when she changed jobs and then worked at The Everett Clinic until 2014. She currently resides on Whidbey Island, WA. Sandra has been a strong advocate for children throughout her working career and in retirement.
