Mary Charlotte Bich
Our family member and friend Mary Charlotte Bich 63 passed away surrounded by family on March 2, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. Born in Yuma, Arizona she is predeceased by her parents William and Gladys Chalmers and her late husband James Bich. Mary loved to make people happy and had a kind generous heart. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her daughter Laura and her granddaughter Liana. She grew beautiful flowers in her garden and baked delicious cakes and cookies to share. Her home always had the aroma of something good baking in the oven. She spent many hours going to Broadway musicals playing board games and spending time with family. Mary worked as a valued part of the University of Arizona Human Resources Department since 1969. She was known for her professionalism and kindness and will be greatly missed. Mary is survived by her daughter Laura Bich; son-in-law Nathan Sinyangwe; and granddaughter Liana Sinyangwe of Katy TX; sisters Cheryl Taylor of Yuma, AZ and Robin Chalmers of Atlanta, GA; and countless nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Mary's name.
