A strong supporter of the growing lacrosse movement in the early 2000s Ann spent considerable time helping to develop lacrosse programs both in Boulder and in Tucson. Most notably were her efforts with the Boulder County Lacrosse programs at Monarch High School and ICON Elite. Ann also ran the Coyote Lacrosse Camp for elementary school children and she helped found the Superior Lacrosse Club where she became a charter member of the Superior Lacrosse Club Board of Directors. In addition to Ann's commitment to children's lacrosse programs Ann worked with children's educational programs. With Ann's desire to be heavily involved in her children's lives as her children moved through their elementary and early high school years Ann volunteered in the classroom with the Tanque Verde School District and the Boulder Valley School District. Ann also adored and was constantly surrounded by animals including dogs cats guinea pigs rabbits a horse and many turtles. As her husband and best friend of 23 years I loved her deeply and I will miss her.
