Dr. Cosentino's academic career although noteworthy shadows in contrast to her many contributions to the health and welfare of our community's infants children and adolescents. Since 1991 Catherine's life ministry has been one of tireless dedication to the little ones of Southern Arizona. She has been there for our newborns faced with life threatening conditions our children requiring surgical intervention and our parents confronted with the unthinkable fear of losing a child. Catherine has been there to care for Tucson's children and to comfort their parents at all hours no matter the day and no matter the cost to her personal needs. Dr. Cosentino's legacy will live on long after her career comes to end. It will live on in all the little ones who grow live love contribute to the community and have children of their own. Catherine is loved by her family friends and those she's cared for. "There is always the danger that we may just do the work for the sake of the work. This is where the respect and the love and the devotion come in - that we do it to God to Christ and that's why we try to do it as beautifully as possible,". Mother Teresa
