Lisa Shelley Sander
Lisa received her bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude in anthropology at the University of Arizona in 1996. In 1997 she married our son Jay Sander also a University of Arizona alumnus. In 1998 their first daughter Catherine was born and in 2003 their second Alison. Following her long-standing commitment to education and to the environment Lisa pursued her PhD in environmental health science and policy at the University of California at Irvine while managing her home and family graduating in 2006. Lisa is currently an environmental planner for the Chambers Group in Redlands California. As the mother of our grandchildren and the wife of our son Lisa is much more than an accomplished professional. She is a warm and loving mother a wonderful wife and a second daughter to us. We are proud to honor her in the Women's Plaza of Honor.
