In 1994 these energies resulted in Kristie founding the Amazon Foundation which was a supporting organization of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. Between 1994 and 2002 Kristie served as President and sole donor of the Foundation. With Kristie's support Amazon excelled at developing and fostering groundbreaking and innovative charitable giving to provide financial support for women and girls as well as progressive feminist social change projects in southern Arizona.
