Genevieve Davis Ginsburg MS was a licensed counselor and author best known for founding Widowed to Widowed a Tucson-based advocacy group that went on to help thousands of people survive the death of a spouse. The author of Widow to Widow: Thoughtful Practical Ideas for Rebuilding Your Life she was also a recipient of the 1981 Jefferson Award for public service and community leadership and the Arizona Governor's Award for her social service. She died in 1996 surviving her husband by 21 years.
