Sally Drachman received her masters and doctorate degrees from the Uiniversity of Arizona. She has been the director of development for many organizations and has served actively on the boards of Tucson Symphony Orchestra Arizona Town Hall YCWA Friends of Sabino Rotary and Junior League among others. She has served St. Gregory's Pima Community College and the University of Arizona in many capacities to advance educational research and funding. She has supported many religious health and children's groups as well. Sally Drachman is an extraordinary advocate for Tucson. In over half a century she has raised hundreds of millions of dollars to protect people and their health education the arts and the environment. Sally has had an amazing impact as a leader of many diverse organizations. She has chosen to work out of the spotlight of fame and gives bountifully of her own time energy and wealth. She has been a teacher a counselor a public speaker a businesswoman a negotiator and a public servant. In addition to fundraising she has mentored and trained those around her to carry on her work. She has been a loving mother grandmother wife and dear friend. Sally's life stands as an inspiration to each of us about how to serve our community.
