Marie A. Rozenblit
Most of Marie's professional life has been spent helping students attain career success either through her personal interactions or through the various innovative programming offered through Career Services. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in India, she came to the US and received her Master's degree in Education.
Marie started out her career in Detroit, Michigan with various positions in student personnel, including Residence Halls, International Student Programs and Academic Advising that eventually led her to a position in career services. She joined the University of Arizona Career Services in 1989 and has been Director since 1993. She has over 35 years of experience in career services, 2 years as an Employment Consultant for a Workers Compensation Company and 3 years in Human Resources for a large International Corporation.
Marie has served on various professional boards and committees throughout her career. She has received the State of Arizona, Governor's Award for Excellence - Recognizing quality, excellence and Continuous improvement in State Government; the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Chevron Outstanding Achievement Award for Innovative Programs Honorable
Mention; the NACE Award of Excellence for Educational Programming, Honorable Mention, and the University of Arizona Commission on The Status of Women "Vision 2000" Award for her leadership.
Marie's integrity, loyalty, and charm are marks of her wonderful character.
