Born on the White River Indian Reservation in northern Arizona to Tim and Kathleen Myers Holleran (now Drecktrah), Molly and her family lived in North Carolina, Kentucky (where little sister Annie was born), and Wyoming, before finally settling in River Falls, Wisconsin, where Molly attended high school.

Her parents encouraged her in the pursuit of music, and drove grooves into the road between River Falls and Appleton, Wisconsin, where she attended the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. After graduating with bachelor's degrees in music and theatre, she lived in Chicago with her girlfriends for three years before deciding to move to Tucson to pursue a master's degree in vocal performance at the University of Arizona.

A coloratura soprano, Molly is an active soloist in Tucson, and performs with several choral groups including the Tucson Chamber Artists. She has participated in the Tyrolean Opera Program in Maurach, Austria, for two years, has been soprano soloist at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Tucson since 2003, and is a company member at Tucson's Live Theatre Workshop. She participates in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and designs websites in her spare time.

Molly is proud to have worked with the Women's Plaza of Honor committee since 2001.
