Marie L. Schwarz attended Northwestern University for three years and was a lifelong reader and "student"/learner. She worked in schools, then as a librarian, and as a receptionist for a doctor. She retired in her late 70s. She was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts, the PTA, and other organizations.
